Other Experience: Mr. Mehalick has first hand experience in the drilling of deep vertical and angled borings. He has performed subsurface investigations for various schools and institutional buildings for the Department of Environmental Resources and private clients in the Anthracite coal field of PA.
In the Bituminous coal fields, he has participated in coal explorations, landslide investigations, and monitoring instrument installations. Experienced in barge work on numerous rivers, streams, and lakes.
Experienced in all phases of hazardous materials sampling, undisturbed sampling, auger drilling, masonry drilling, spoon sampling, & core drilling. Experienced in the operation of heavy equipment (Dozer, Loader, Backhoe).
In addition to experience in subsurface investigations, Mr. Mehalick has also performed duties as a soils technician. He is licensed by the Nuclear Regulatory Commission to operate nuclear equipment for the control of Earth construction. As President of BS & T Labs, Inc., he supervised the construction of highway embankments, fills for buildings and small retention ponds, plus various projects related to all phases of soils, concrete, asphalt, and steel insp.
